Web30 Jan 2011 · Shoptask motors had unreliable capacitors in that time frame and occasionally would have problems with the internal start coil switch. Turn the motors on to check this out. Cap easy to fix, start coil switch not so. Recent poster paid $6-800 for 1720 CNC version, about 15-20% new cost.
